I offer Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Herbal medicine and therapeutic massage.
Little did I realize that my first visit to India in 1999 would have such a profound effect on my life and bring about a complete change of direction. Having received Ayurvedic treatment, I decided to re-train as a Naturopath and Herbalist and incorporate Ayurveda into my practice.
I took a sabbatical in Southern India to train in both the theory and practice of Ayurveda, at its source. I was also introduced to the other humoral medicine system of Unani with a bespoke course at the world renowned Hamdard University in New Delhi. I have worked as a volunteer in an Ayurvedic clinic in Sri Lanka, treating stroke patients with Ayurvedic massage, which further deepened my understanding and love for this healing art. Once I returned home, I completed my professional training in the UK as a Naturopath and Medical Herbalist with the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London.
I treat clients with a wide variety of chronic conditions in their own home across the northern Home Counties and London; prepare them for surgery and help to speed-up their recovery with Ayurvedic rejeuvenative massage, herbs and dietary management. I also have a practice at home in Bedfordshire and in a complementary health clinic in West London. I love to share my knowledge of natural medicine so I write a monthly article for the lifestyle magazine Affinity and regularly support the training of undergraduate students of herbal medicine as an Assistant Clinical Supervisor at CNM in London.
